“For us the project is about creating an inclusive cutting edge interior. A significant aspect of the project was creating clearly defined separate spaces for the bistro, lounge bar, café and sports bar, but with visual connection. This project was about entirely “modernising” the venue for members and patrons.” (Craig Cornish)
Staging of the program to ensure minimal disruption to the clubs functioning throughout the build was crucial. Works took place in the café, then lounge spaces, then bistro sequentially so that the Club could always maintain a functioning dining option.
Green walls soften the interior, along with pastel patterned tiles and timber ceiling battens to create spaces of comfort.
